Healing through Faith: Empowering You to Thrive with Strength, Resilience, and Grace

1061395643Being “exhausted” doesn’t begin to tell the story.

Physical fatigue would be a welcome relief. No, you’re here because you’re depleted mentally, emotionally, AND physically.

It’s what happens when you give and give of yourself without getting what YOU need in return.

You’re the strong one,” so it’s just expected of you – to “step up,” to “come through,” to “be perfect.” And when you don’t, you feel guilty for it.

You know you can’t go on like this. You HAVE to make a change.

If you don’t have support and direction…

Your journey to healing will be lonely and overwhelming.

And when you go it alone, you’re not sure if you’re making the right moves. You feel lost – unsure of where to turn.

I’m here to remind you that you don’t have to navigate life’s challenges alone.

Compassionate guidance in a safe space…

Compassionate guidance is at the core of my practice. I understand that sharing personal struggles requires trust, which is why I strive to create a safe, warm, and nonjudgmental space for you.

My approach is patient and empathetic. I truly listen to your unique journey and offer support that aligns with your needs. I believe that compassion is a powerful tool for healing. It helps you feel seen, understood, and safe as you take steps toward real growth.

When we work together, you can let go of the fear of judgment. I’ll meet you where you are and guide you toward clarity, hope, and empowerment. You are not alone on this walk. I’m here to help you feel valued and embrace resilience and peace.

A balanced approach to healing…

Discerning between our human emotions and our spiritual self is a crucial step toward finding balance in our sessions. Not every issue requires spiritual warfare.

It’s not always easy, but it’s important to distinguish the struggles that stem from experiences in your lifetime and those that were passed down to you by others in your bloodline. I’ll help you see the difference.

Through open-hearted conversations that help you build comfort in this space, we will discover where your balance lies and create a clear path to healing.

Sometimes, half the battle is in knowing where to start.

It’s time to do more than just cope in life.

I’ll give you the tools, clarity, and encouragement you need to make lasting changes in your life.

You need a new path forward – one that promotes both your mental wellness and spiritual growth.

It’s time for you to thrive…and it can start right now!

About Sohamy Pinard, PMHNPBC, MS

I love to listen!

I always have, but I didn’t realize that it was God preparing me for the work I’d be doing.

It seems that everyone feels comfortable sharing personal issues with me – not just my friends.

I’ve always enjoyed helping them find a better way – making them feel seen as the human they are apart from what they’re going through.

My journey here…

I became a psychiatric nurse practitioner (NP) because I wanted to engage fully in my patients’ treatment journeys from start to finish. I didn’t like just popping in for brief visits.

During my time as an NP, I battled depression. I went to therapy and found it beneficial, but it was always lacking something. As I deepened my relationship with God, I realized the importance of incorporating faith into one’s healing journey.

When I’m not in session…

I love learning more about God and strengthening that walk. Outside of my own time with Him, I help lead a weekly Bible study and have served as a table coach in my church’s women’s Bible study classes. Helping others understand who God is and canceling out the lies of the enemy is a BIG WIN.

I am also passionate about photography. I’m generally the one called to do maternity photoshoots, newborn/child birthday photos, or various special events for my friends. I also do photography for my church.

Any other free time is spent at home relaxing with loved ones or traveling. Time with good people anywhere is always a good time.
